CEO Opportunity

A client of Alliance Search Management, Inc. is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead a dynamic regional medical center.  The organization consists of a 194 bed acute care medical center, a state-of-the-art regional cancer center, outpatient services including diagnostics, urgent care, wound care, free standing clinics, a 12 bed rehabilitation hospital, outpatient rehabilitation and a 88 member multi-specialty group practice.  The facility is a Level III trauma center and offers neurodiagnostics and neurosurgery.

The medical center enjoys a strong reputation among its physicians, patients, employees and community.  It is a leader in community support and relations and is the largest employer in the county.  The most recent DNV survey was completed in 2015; the medical center received total compliance recognition.  Thompson-Reuters has recognized the hospital as a performance improvement leader.  The hospital is fiscally sound with low debt and cost structure.

Chief Executive Officer candidates must bring excellent communication and relationship building skills with all levels of community, physicians and staff.  Commitment to the medical center’s values of Sacred Trust, Personal Reverence, Thoughtful Anticipation, Creative Vitality and Team Accountability and the Service Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Efficiency, and Stewardship are obligatory.  Preferred candidates will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience as a successful Chief Executive Officer in an acute care medical/surgical hospital of comparable size and complexity.  Candidates must also demonstrate substantial success creating collaborative efforts toward clinical integration between employed and independent medical staff members, to the benefit of the community.  Experience in a stand-alone hospital is a plus.  Experience implementing a contemporary quality management program and an EMR are preferred.

NMOA is seeking an accountant who will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.  Three years of accounting experience is required.  One year experience in a medical setting such as a physician office, hospital, ambulatory care or long-term nursing facility preferred.
